This notice applies to the public website at evidencetransfer.com. It does not describe the data practices of EvidenceKeep or any separate product or service.
Website visits and hosting
When you visit the website, the services used to host and deliver it may process basic technical information needed to serve, secure and operate the site. Depending on the service, that can include information such as the requested page, date and time, browser or device information, referring page and network information associated with the request.
EvidenceTransfer uses third-party infrastructure, including Netlify for website hosting and Cloudflare for DNS and website analytics. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
EvidenceTransfer uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and page-performance information. The analytics implementation is intended for website measurement rather than advertising, remarketing or cross-site behavioral tracking.
The Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon does not store or access cookies, local storage, session storage or IndexedDB in your browser. Cloudflare states that the analytics service receives a source IP address as part of normal HTTP request handling but discards it at the nearest Cloudflare data center rather than storing it in the service's core databases or logs. The beacon uses browser performance information and related page data to produce aggregate analytics.
Email communications
If you contact EvidenceTransfer by email, you voluntarily provide information such as your email address and the contents of your message. That information may be used to receive, review and respond to the communication and to maintain the resulting correspondence.
Outbound links
EvidenceTransfer links to third-party websites, including legal, technical and provider sources. Those websites have their own privacy practices, and this notice does not govern what happens after you follow an external link.
Changes to this notice
This page may be updated if the website's analytics, hosting or communication practices materially change.
